Obituary for Elizabeth R. "Sue" McMahan

Elizabeth R. "Sue" McMahan, 78 , of Mt. Washington passed away September 11, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Breckinridge County.
Sue loved to fish and was active with assisting her husband with the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph Council 12354. She was a former cafeteria worker at Bullitt Central and Bullitt East High Schools and a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jane Alexander; brothers, Joseph and Richard Alexander.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years; Jacob E. McMahan; daughter, Janice Philpott (Steve); sons, Chuck McMahan, Ricky McMahan (Mary), Dennis McMahan (Vicky), Dale McMahan (Margie) and Tony McMahan (Shannon); brothers, Paul, Harold and Mike Alexander; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be Thursday 11am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Wednesday and after 9 am on Thursday.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the Mass of the Air or the National Parkinson's Foundation.
