J. Mark Schmid was raised on the family farm. He graduated from Attica High School in 1982 and from the Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 1986. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He and his wife, Pamela Thompson Schmid, have been happily married for 26 years. Mark became a permanent resident of Mt. Washington after they were married. He is active in the community, currently he is Assistant Coach for the Bullitt East Charger Football Program, and has been the president of the Mt. Washington Lions Club.
Pamela is a native of Mt. Washington and is a 1981 graduate of Bullitt Central High School. She continued her education at the University of Kentucky, and received her bachelor's degree in Psychology. She chose to change her career, and in 1986 graduated from the Mid-America College of Funeral Service with scholastic honors. Pam is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She met her husband of 26 years J. Mark Schmid while attending Mid-America.
Tim W. Gonterman is a native of Mt. Washington and a 1979 graduate of Bullitt Central High School. Tim is a 1981 graduate of the Mid-America College of Funeral Service and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is a member of the Mt. Washington Lions Club, Volunteer with the Mt. Washington Community Ministries, Member of the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery Board, and a member of Lone Hill United Baptist Church and their cemetery board. Tim is color commentator for Bullitt East Sports and is a co-host for a weekly broadcast of Hometown Talk, a live talk show that are on 95.3 WFBR. Tim and his wife Janet have been married 32 years and live in Mt. Washington. They have 2 daughters Devin Prather(Joe) and Danielle Wetzel (Chris), and three grandsons, Zander Joseph Prather, Gavin Edward Burns and Reed Colin Prather.
